I graduated at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada with BSc. and DDS degrees. I had a dental practice in the Vancouver area, Canada for 15 yrs. prior to passing my U.S. and California Board Exams in year 2000. I enjoyed a wide range treatment deliveries including orthodontic therapy and periodontal surgery, as well as restorative and implant procedures. I presently focus my treatment on restorative and cosmetic therapies, ceramic crowns, ceramic onlays, implant restorations and removable/non-removable appliances with or without implant assistance. I have been engaged in recent studies of sleep apnea and how we as dentists can assist in treatment of this very serious problem.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Fernando Dental Society.
Life Outside the Office
My wife and I enjoy travelling nationally and internationally. I have a very active lifestyle which has previously included private pilot license, karate (blackbelt), hiking, scuba diving, mountain biking and my favorite, skiing. I have skied most of my life and enjoy my yearly international excursions with a group of Canadian dentists for off-piste skiing. By staying physically active, particularly with weight-training and daily runs with my Brittany dog, Casey, I plan to serve my wonderful patients for many more years.
